On May 7th, the College of Engineering and Computer Science has organized annual event where students show off projects done for a course final exam via a self-driving car programming competition. As well as the competition, CECS students doing undergraduate research (UROP@CECS) and research assistants from Smart Health Center also present their research progress and results through posters and oral presentations.
VishC are happy to share 4 undergraduate RAs who are currently working at VISHC got prizes on CECS Day.
Phan Thi Hien Chi – Best Poster Award – Topic: Detecting breast cancer from mammograms
Phan Nhat Huy – Second Best Poster Presentation – Topic: One-shot learning for pill identification
Mai Quang Tuan – Third Prize Oral Presentation – Topic: Gait motion analysis using GNN
Huynh Quynh Anh – Third Prize for Introduction to Programming Project – License plate detection using computer vision and machine learning.
One more time, congratulations to Hien Chi, Nhat Huy, Quang Tuan, and Quynh Anh. Wish the students will keep up the good performance and gain more achievements in the next journeys.
