Tech Giants Talk: 75 Years of the Transistor

Source: The Grainger College of Engineering

On March 30, The Grainger College of Engineering hosted a panel of tech giants to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the transistor. John Bardeen, a former professor of physics and electrical engineering at Illinois, invented the bedrock of microelectronics as we know it today. He taught at Illinois for nearly 25 years and is the only person to win a Nobel Prize in physics twice.

Moderated by Penny Pritzker, Founder and Chairman of PSP Partners, Grainger Engineering proudly presents an exclusive panel discussion with Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIA, Pat Gelsinger, CEO of Intel and Arvind Krishna, Chairman and CEO of IBM, to the public.

Listen as they commemorate the world-changing impact brought by Grainger Engineers and discuss the future of microelectronics and our new revolution – the production of intelligence. For the full Panel Discussion, please visit here
